Original language description
This paper describes classification methods for fly ash with regard to their following usability in concrete according to Standard ČSN EN 450-1. Specific properties of fly ash were determined on normal fly ash and on milled fly ash. Physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics of test samples were determined. The goal of the study was to modify fly ash with regard to use in concrete. It describes used methods and tests concerning the characteristics of the material. The ash properties were also described and evaluated and these results were compared with standards requirements.
