    The derivation of the frequency equations of the flexural vibration of samples with a uniform cross-section for free – free conditions, cantilever, and samples with both ends hinged is shown. These frequency equations take into account the influence of shear forces and rotational inertia. Transformations of the frequency equations into a simplified form are also described.
