    Influence of aluminosilicate fibers on mechanical properties of composite based on Portland cement exposed to high temperatures

  • Original language description

    The effect of high-temperature exposure on the behaviour of fiber reinforced composites based on Portland cement is studied. Three reinforced composites with the amount of fibers from 0.5 to 1.5 % and one reference without fibers were prepared. Their basic and mechanical properties were measured and studied. The application of aluminosilicates fibers has been found to improve the residual bending strength in a comparison with the referenced composite without fibers. The fiber-reinforced composites keep their bending strength after exposure high temperatures better than composite without reinforced. The best results were recorded on the composites with the content of 1 % aluminosilicates fibers.
