Original language description
The article deals with the numerical model describing the rotation of stiff ferromagnetic fiber in non-Newtonian fluid initiated by the magnetic field. Simulations in the software ANSYS ® were performed to determine the magnetic force applied to a stiff ferromagnetic fiber. Function expressing moment effects of the magnetic field on the stiff ferromagnetic fiber was obtained by the data from simulations. The paper shows the derivation of the equation describing the rotation of stiff ferromagnetic fiber in a non-Newtonian fluid. Sets of experiments were performed and measured data were used to fit the numerical model.
