SPOJE DŘEVĚNÝCH KONSTRUKCÍ S JEDNOU VLOŽENOU OCELOVOU DESKOU ZA POŽÁRU
Original language description
The paper deals with the topic of timber joints with one inserted steel plate. Such joints are being increasingly used for their advanced fire resistance. Combination of timber and steel also leads to structure with increased load bearing capacity comparing to timber joint only. To assess and compare the behaviour of different designs, eight joints of different designs were tested at normal temperature. The results of the fire tests of the joints performed within this research showed that the joints can achieve significantly higher fire resistances than prescribed by the standards.
