Advanced concrete technology for the design of spillway energy dissipators
Original language description
The ultimate shape of a concrete product is always a direct copy of the shape of formwork. The advent of new concrete mix designs and more flexible construction technologies provides a chance to produce more hydraulic optimal energy dissipators. Since these technological possibilities are rather broad, the project presented here focuses on the synthesis of the available digital fabrication technologies in their affordable form, so that even university and high school students can take part in the hydraulic optimization process.
