Original language description
An actualized and extended version of software computer code based on the finite element method was created to analyse coupled thermo-hydro mechanical problems. The 2D and 3D domains can be modelled by various types of finite elements with linear or quadratic base functions. Phenomenological and micromechanics-based models for coupled heat and moisture transfer were implemented. Various mechanical material models have been implemented, such as creep, damage, and plasticity models. Two approaches are used for coupling - staggered form and fully coupled form. Results can be exported to commercial graphical postprocessor GiD, which provides a robust environment for their visualization. The new version contains a fully coupled model for moisture transport in expansive clays. The code has over 35000 source lines.
