Determination of heat transfer coefficient at high temperatures using inverse modelling approach

  • Original language description

The paper is focused at the phenomenon of heat transport at high temperature and aimes at determination of heat transfer coefficient in particular. The presented research is based on the combination of experimental and computational approach that creates a perfect combination for application of the inverse analysis methods. In this paper, the inverse analysis is conducted by means of genetic algorithm allowing for the identification of heat transfer coefficient as a function of temperature. The results of such an application showed high dependancy of the studied parameter on temperature, especially when temperatures above 500 °C are considered. The outcome of this research underlines the necessity of seeking for the solution in the form of temperature-dependent functions to provide complex and accurate analysis of heat transfer at high temperatures.
