    Test of the Interaction of Concrete Mix with Different Surface

  • Original language description

    When verifying the properties of self-compacting concrete, it is advantageous to make at least part of the formwork transparent. Plexiglass can be used for such purposes. However, it is necessary to verify that the change of materials does not affect the behavior of the concrete mix. Five materials were compared - steel plate, plexiglass, waterproof plywood, smooth concrete surface and rough concrete surface. The testing was performed by flowing a constant amount of concrete mixture on different surfaces with different inclinations and comparing the shapes of the flowed concrete. It has been proven that for vertical surfaces not only steel sheet with plexiglass can be exchanged, but also with plywood and with smooth surface treatment also with concrete. For sloping surfaces, steel plate with plexiglass or waterproof plywood can be exchanged.
