Original language description
This study focuses on the use of circulating fluidized bed combustion (CFBC) fly ash from various power plant sources in the Czech Republic. The selected CFBC fly ashes are compared in terms of composition and basic properties in fresh state. Furthermore, cement is replaced with CFBC fly ash at a dose of 10% by weight, and then the mixture is modified with a plasticizing additive based on polycarboxylate. The results show that the composition and properties of CFBC fly ash and the resulting mixtures vary depending on the specific source. The use of a plasticizing additive positively modifies the resulting mixture and thus offers a wider application in practice.
