In recent years there has been a lot of talk about houses built using 3D printing technology. The materials are being tested, the speed of the machine, the construction costs, the advantages in reducing CO2 emissions and construction waste. But no one has yet addressed the problem of the legislation and standards required for these constructions in order to obtain the necessary building permits. Specifically, how these houses are to be insulated and what materials are to be used. The research results will help to better understand depending on the type of material chosen to insulate a house, what will be the thickness of the insulating material for the 3D printed constructions and how much will be the footprint of the walls housing the thermal insulation, in order to comply with the ČSN 73 0540-2:2011 standard in force in the Czech Republic.
