The paper presents the concept of project of a response to long-term total outside power failure at the nuclear power plant Temelin. This issue goes beyond original project of the nucler power plant Temelin. The devastation caused by the Fukushima nuclear disaser in 2011 has shown just how seriouse the consuquences of this sever accident scenario can be. Therefore, response has been pre-pared.
