Original language description
The lecture summarizes research, development and applicability in the field of alternative filers that can be obtained as dust filler in quarries or by reprocessing secondary raw materials. It is divided into three areas that progressively define the knowledge and context for the application of these alternative fillers in asphalt mixtures, in cold recycling technologies for pavement layers and in hydraulically bound layers. Each section contains case studies resulting mainly from research carried out over the last 15 years at the Department of Road Structures, FCE CTU Prague. Separate attention is also paid to phenomena such as adhesion between asphalt binder and aggregate.
