Technologická optimalizace výroby hybridních ocelových nosníků

  • Original language description

The main idea of the work is to design a hybrid beam combining two different steel grades - normal strength steel (S355) and HSS (S960/S690). The motivation for using HSS is that to reduce the carbon footprint and overall energy consumption, a CO2 emissions from HSS production are only slightly higher than those produced by conventional steel production. Reducing the amount of material required to produce the beam, a significant reduction in CO2 emissions is possible. An important point addressed in the work is the welded joint of these two different steels. The following text deals with the design of the experimental specimens and the welding process. This experiment will be used in the future to validate the numerical analysis of the parametric study.
