  • Original language description

This study investigates the performance of two types of fasteners: self-drilling screws with washers and powder-actuated fasteners under both ambient and elevated temperatures. Experimental tests were carried out for five temperatures (20, 350, 500, 600, and 700 °C) and two sheet thicknesses (0.75 and 1.5 mm), with four repetitions per configuration. The obtained data offer a better understanding of the mechanical response of these connections across the considered temperature range. The paper also presents two large-scale fire experiments of a lightweight roof with trapezoidal sheeting. Both fire tests resulted in a failure of the sheeting connection.
