The workshop provided its participants with information on measurement techniques and procedures for radon diagnostics of the buildings. Data processing and reporting with the aim of preparing the basis for a credible design of preventive and remedial measures was discussed. The aim of the workshop was also to present the principles of radon control technologies and to describe in detail individual types of radon preventive and remedial measures with an emphasis on their design and implementation.
