Comparison and effect of various pedestrian models on a footbridge
Original language description
The subject of this work is the comparison of pedestrian models from various authors and their effects (acceleration) on a footbridge, which is modelled as a simply supported concrete beam with a rectangular cross-section. Most of these pedestrian models are based on Fourier series; however, some are derived from statistical calculations. For the comparison, models simulating only a single walking pedestrian were selected. The effects of the impact are compared for stationary and non-stationary responses.
