In CAM systems the possibility to take advantage of previously realised part program is often used for its modification into the actual form of a model. Using methods of technological standardisation the work can be made more efficient without loss of quality. In this way proven methods of cutting, cutting tools and cutting conditions can be used. This paper deals with part programs, program structures and the methodology of setting up a program.
