Glass Rasters for Architecture and Building Produced in Czech Republic
Original language description
The optical rasters made of glass for building and architecture are transparent building components used for covering of transparent walls and roofs or their parts. Their main characteristic feature is the repeating linear pattern which diffuses the scattered solar radiation in the same way as the usual glass and modifies the direct solar radiation according to the laws of geometrical optics. Optical rasters are supplied in the form of flat plate glass. From the security point of view they are the mostoften used as isolating double glass with the coefficient of the heat transparency k = 1,2÷2,5W/m2K.
