Original language description
First results of the experimental investigation of the influence of the inlet flow structure and turbulence on the formation of the secondary flow in the curved cylindrical channel are presented. Using a specially designed low turbulence low speed open type wind tunnel and the flow field and turbulence simulation device, the time mean velocity vector and pressure distribution in three measuring planes of the 90 degrees elbow are shown.
