Numerical Solution of Two - Phase Transonic Flow of Wet Steam in a Nozzle
Original language description
The paper describes a model of two-phase quasi-2D flow of wet steam based on the Hill's approximation. The successful numerical modelling of condensation process requires the use of much smaller time step than it is usual for a single-phase flow. Therefore a fractional step method is used, i.e. the advection and the condensation parts of equations are solved by different numerical methods. The first numerical results for quasi-2D two-phase flow in Laval nozzle are presented.
