Numerical Simulations of Laminar Viscous Incompressible Flow over a Profile
Original language description
This paper is concerned with numerical simulation of viscous laminar incompressible flow over a profile with the help of the finite element method (FEM). The mainattention is paid to the efficient computation of a flow field. The advanced stabilization methods have to be employed, e.g. SUPG and GLS method. The second part of the paper is devoted to the evaluation of fluid forces acting on the profile. The correct evaluation of these forces is necessary for fluid-structure interaction analysis, which isof our future interest.
