Original language description
Local turbulent energy dissipation rate in the three tanks of different size stirred by Rushton turbine impeller have been measured and published by Ducoste, Clark, Weetman (1997). A simple relationship for local turbulent dissipation rate derived by Šulc, Ditl (2000) have been used to treat and generalized these data. The evaluated parameters of energy dissipation formula are presented for impeller region and bulk region. The comparison of measured and calculated data is shown.
