Original language description
Exploration of wear, friction and other parameters is necessary for innovation of new technologies. Optimisation and selection of functional pairs' materials is the process of looking for a suitable combination of materials. The wear (abrasion) can actually be measured by several methods. For the TOP3 tribometer, the most often used methods are weighing of the specimen before and after the test and measuring deformation of the element. That is used for determination of sliding friction coefficient. Theforce is measured by a piezoelectric tensometer with accuracy of 10-4 per cent of length variance. In the paper are presented two experiments. Determination of wear for pairs metal/oil, metal/metal, metal/MILITEC agent and determination of wear and sliding friction coefficient on pairs plate/plate.
