Experimental and Numerical Analysis of Transonic Flow through Plane Turbine Cascade
Original language description
The paper deals with experimental and numerical investigations of transonic flow through the SE 1050 axial turbine blade cascade. Empirical data are a basis for testing of different flow models. Results of optical measurements give information on the structure of transonic flow field and enable to evaluate flow parameters for comparison with results of numerical methods. Numerical simulations of transonic flow through the SE 1050 turbine blade cascade are based on 2D inviscid, and 2D viscous laminar andturbulent flow models. Achieved numerical results by both inhouse and commercial software are compared mutually and also with experimental data. The analysis of results by different numerical schemes, grid arrangements and boundary conditions is carriedout.
