Detection of Mechanical Signals by Biological Principles
Original language description
Progress in utilisation of the biological principles in daily praxis has been done recently. Best known example of it are chemical biosensors. They detect chemical substances after their reaction with biological macromolecules in the same way as it is done in the organism. Living organisms could detect not only chemical signals but also mechanical signals. Therefore we would like to point at possibility of use other type of sensing of mechanical signals based on the biological principles.
