Experimental Investigation of Composite Material Propeties of Aircraft Structures
Original language description
Material characteristics investigation of composite materials used at design of light and very light aeroplanes. Rising Composite Material Database contains material properties, measured composite material and engineering characteristics, material components tests, description and philosophy of experiments, specimen technological processing and notation key. Tested materials are composite materials with glass, carbon or carbon-aramid reinforcement and epoxy matrix used for building light and very lightaeroplanes, produced by contact lamination. The orientation of specimen reinforcers with respect to load direction is 0°, 45° and 90°. There is considered static tensile test, pressure, bend test, shear and interlaminar shear test. All static experimentsare provided at temperatures 23°C, 54°C, -55°C and 23°C with increased moisture.
