The Hole Drilling Method Data Evalution by Means of the Integral Method
Original language description
Knowledge of residual stresses is very important for designers of constructions. Drilling of the blind hole is processed step by step. This procedure relaxes residual strains that can be measured by the strain gauge rosette after finishing of the each step. Evolution of residual strains dependence on depth is obtained. Main problem of determination of residual stresses is using correct equation between function of relaxed strain and residual stresses as function of depth. There were developed many methods such as incrementa strain method, average stress method, power series method, integral method, etc. Integral method can be considered as the most fundamental one from the four above mentioned methods.
