On an Application of Finite Element Method on Problems from Aeroelasticity
Original language description
In this paper we focus on an interaction of the air flow and the airfoil, where we restrict ourselves onto two dimensional cuts of the original three dimensional model. The mathematical model of the fluid flow is described with viscous incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. The airfoil is described as a fixed body with two degrees of freedom - vertical displacement and angle of rotation.
