FEM - Based Tube Bending Simulation
Original language description
The paper deals with a possibility of the final elements method (FEM) utilization for tube bending simulations. The process of winding the tube on a formative segment without a supporting thorn is simulated by FE-models of the bending assembly and the tube. The simulation is described here and the selected results of the realized tube bending simulations, including the tube unloading, are displayed and commented here.
