New Design Method of Inlet and Outlet Channels of Turboshaft and Turboprop Engines
Original language description
New engineering design method for inlet and outlet channels of the turbomachines, casings and ducts of a very complex three dimensional form has been developed at the Department of Aerospace Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. The method was applied for the new design of outlet channel of the Walter M 601 turboprop engine and for the new design of the inlet channel of the Walter M 602 turboprop engine and the regional transport aircraft L 610 with very good results in comparison with the originally designed channels by traditional design methods.
