In this paper we would like to introduce the second version of the e-learning system called MultiPeS (Multimedia Pedagogical System). This system is used at the Department of Cybernetics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague as educational support tool for students in full-time study and as teaching material for students of life-long learning and in distant form. It helps to increase quality of education continuously and to introduce the latest research results in theeducation. The MultiPeS e-learning system is designed as an open modular system which enables its simple reuse. In addition to multimedia tools, MultiPeS contains a number of modules that significantly contribute to easier acquisition of information, creating relations among pieces of information and their successive remembering and refreshing.
