The paper deals with a scheme of non-linear model-based moisture content control developed to inhibit the undesirable phenomena caused by moisture sorption processes in historical interiors. From the preventive conservation point view, the air humidity impact brings about the most significant harmful exposure for a great deal of cultural heritage deposited in remote historical objects.
