Methodology of HCCI Engine Transient Regime Simulation
Original language description
The article deals with a simulation of HCCI engine transients. Control of start-of-combustion and HCCI/diesel combustion mode switching are the main issues connected to the combustion system use. A methodology of 0-D approach to simulation of both HCCI and diesel combustion are described. The model is capable of simulating combustion mode switching. The model is incorporated in the 1-D simulation GT-Power code through a user routine. Control of mode switching and basic ECU functions are simulated in theMatlab/Simulink code. Examples of these results are presented.
