  • Original language description

    Solar heat gains through window are the most inportant in cooling load calculations. In the first part the paper deals with optical properties of glazing and descriptions of transparent systems solar properties (SHGC, g-value, SC) are compared. Furthermore, the paper deals with spectrallyselective glazing and its influence on solar heat gains. Finally the different kinds of cooling load calculation methods are described. There are presented cooling load calculation methods according to ČSN, VDI and ASHRAE.
