The article introduces to readers problematic of diagnostic modern machine tools. In the first section it offers a view of what kind of diagnostic is used on the tool machines. On the case of experimental machine LM-2 introduces the diagnostic systém SEDAM, which is richly designed. It introduces possibilities of this systém, such as communication faculties. Systém SEDAM can communicate not only with machine which is just diagnosticated but is can also communicate with surroudings by modern internet technology. This article roughly introduces to readers technical design of our measuring systém.
