    Article deals with a description of the field of tangential component of the mean velocity in the standard Rushton impeller discharge stream under turbulent regime of flow of agitated liquid. Investigated velocity field exhibits a nonlinear decrease of tangential component of the mean velocity with increasing radial distance from axis of the impeller (axial coordinate).
