Experimental verification of analytical modal analysis of machine tool parts

The experimental machine tool equipped with linear motors was designed at the Research Centre of Manufacturing Technology (RCMT). There was made FEM optimization of designed structure, both static and dynamic. The most important thing was to know how accurate FEM calculations were and the following one was how to improve analytical models or input data to obtain better results. Experimental verification of analytical data was the solution of this problem. It provided us how to improve analytical model and input data. It gave us more experience for future work. The aim of this paper is to show experimental verification of analytical modal analysis of experimental machine tool. In the paper there are described FEM analysis, experimental modal analysis and their comparison. As the result there are shown improvements of analytical model.

Ve výzkumném centru VCSVTT bylo navrženo experimentální obráběcí centrum s lineárními pohony. Ve fázi vývoje byla konstrukce ověřena výpočtem metody konečných prvků. Pro další výpočty bylo nutné ověřit přesnost těchto výpočtů. Proto byla provedena jejichexperimentální verifikace. V tomto příspěvku je podrobně popsána. Dále jsu ukázány různé FEM modely.
