    Prediction of Muscle Forces Using Neural Network Backpropagation

    The model of a backpropagation neural network with a learning algorithm (BPG) was suggested in order to predict the muscle forces about the elbow actuators without advance knowledge of the relation between inputs and outputs. The elbow joint was selectedbecause it provides a good visual demonstration, and the movement is uniplanar and uniarticular. The proposed object of the neural network simulated the cooperation of 7 musculotendon actuators in the elbow joint, four flexors: m.biceps brachii c.longumand c.breve; m.brachialis; m.brachioradialis; and three extensors: m.triceps brachii c.laterale, c.mediale and c.longum.

    Byl navržen model neuronové sítě se zpětným šířením chyby pro predikci svalových sil v loketním kloubu. Loketní kloub byl vybrán, protože poskytuje dobrou vizuální demonstraci rovinného pohybu. Navržený objekt neuronové sítě simuloval kooperaci 7 svalů vloketním kloubu, 4 flexory: m.biceps brachii c.longum a c.breve; m.brachialis; m.brachioradialis; a 3 extensory: m.triceps brachii c.laterale, c.mediale a c.longum.
