This paper is occupied with laser cladding with powder by Nd:YAG laser. The important parameter in laser cladding with powder is laser beam intensity. Other property is temperature distribution by laser spot with a homogeneous energy. That property is useful for laser cladding, because such a temperature distribution results in uniform material properties along the track width, especially for the cladding of larger areas.
