Yield Strength of Low Carbon Cast Steels
Original language description
The objective of this paper is verify the validity of a model for prediction of yiels strength on low carbon steel 19Mn5 singly microalloyed (killed) eith aluminium in two kinds of heat treatment - normalizing or solution annealing. The model based on Hall-Petch relationship works fairly well, but chosen conditions of solution annealing decreased the yield strength of steel 19Mn5. New relation for contribution caused by transformation strengthening was suggested.
