We present the part results of long-term project optimise the shape of end-to-side anastomosis. The aim of this work was to get a basic idea on the flow behind the distal end-to-side bypass junction in dependence on the flow pattern in distal end-to-sideanastomosis in steady conditions experimentally (visualization and PIV).
