    Simple semiempirical generalized correlation quantifying the effect of flocculation time and flocculent dosage onto flocculation was proposed and experimentally tested. The proposed generalized correlation allows to determine optimal process parameters,i.e. flocculation time and flocculent dosage at which the turbidity removal degree is maximal. The proposed correlation was tested successfully on experimental data for flocculation occured in a tank agitated by a Rushton turbine and 6 - pitched blade turbine

  • Czech description

    Byla navržena generalizovaná korelace pro popis vlivu dávky na flokulaci v nádobě míchané míchadlem. Korelace umožňuje odhadnout optimální procesní parametry, tj.dobu flokulace a dávku flokulantu, při nichž bude (při dané intenzitě míchání) vyčištění maximální. Korelace byla experimentálně ověřována při flokulaci v nádobách míchaných Rushtonovou turbínou a 6 -lopatkovým míchadlem se šikmými lopatkami
