    Balancing Analysis of Vertical Axis of Machine Tool LM-2 by Pneumatic System

    This paper concerns about a balancing of a certical asis of a machine tool LM-2 by pneumatic systém using 2 pneumatic cylinders. The pneumatic cylinder are connected eith an air-pressure tank. Working pressure inside of the air-pressure tank balances weight of compound slide rest in vertical axis. The connection between the airpressure tank and pneumatic cylinders has certain configuration of pipe components. The main aim was determiming of force unbalance causedby the rapid movement of vertical axis during work cycles. The force unbalance significantly influences behaviour of the servomotors which are needkessly overloaded. This is the main reason for minimizing of this force unbalance caused by pneumatic systém. Both numerical simulation (MATLAB) andexperimental were accomplished. Measurements were carried out on high-dynamic milling centre LM-2 development in Research Centre of Manufacturing Engineering. Obtained results of numerical is in good agreement with measured data.

    Článek se zabývá analýzou vyvažování vertikální osy Y obráběcího stroje LM-2 pomocí dvou pneumatických válců. Tyto válce jsou spojeny se vzdušníkem, který je naplněn tlakovým vzduchem jenž udržuje v rovnováze hmotnost vřeteníku obráběcího stroje. Válce jsou se vzdušníkem spojeny určitou pneumatickou soustavou. Úkolem bylo stanovit velikost nevyvážení způsobené pohybem svislé osy při daném spojení válce a vzdušníku. Toto nevyvážení má vliv na práci elektromotoru jenž přetěžuje a je proto třeba toto dynamické nevyvážení mimimalizovat.
