Original language description
The material which should come into the contact with cells has to be biocompatible. The biocompatibility means, that the material must not have a negative influence on to cells and cells must not degrade the material. Chemical and morphological properties of the surface are important especially during clinical application as well as at in vitro examinations of the material. The roughness is one of the important morphological property of the surface. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the dependence of cell areas on surface roughness parameters. Our experiment is based on the two directional (2D) carbon-carbon composite and/or the pyrolytic layer of graphite.
