Continuous Evaluation of Machining Accuracy by In-machine Measurements
Original language description
The paper describes a relatively new area of measuring methods for workpieces machined and subsequently inspected on CNC machine tools. Measuring is performed by a 3D touch probe, inserted into the machine tool spindle, which is moved in preselected poits of machined surface according to the measuring part program. This makes it possible to compare the real measured points with corresponding points of the CAD model and thus evaluate deviations in the normal direction.
