Numerical Modelling of Flow with Transition on an Airfoil

Result description

A computational model of the transitional behaviour of an incompressible viscous fluid was created and applied for solution of flows past a flat plate and an airfoil. Results from the flate plate were compared with experimental data gathered from the ERCOFTAC database as well as compared with theoretical data. Results from the airfoil model offer data on transition as a dependence of inlet velocity.

    Byl vytvořen výpočtový model pro přechod nestlačitelné vazké tekutiny a byl aplikován na řešení proudění na rovinné desce a na profilu. Výsledky řešení proudění na rovinné desce byly porovnány s experimentálními daty z databáze ERCOFTAC jakož i s teoretickými údaji. Výsledky z řešení obtékání profilu poskytují údaje o přechodu jako závislost na rychlosti náběhu.
