    On the 2D - Validation Study of Turbulence k - Epsilon Model Including Pollution Dispersion

    The paper deals with a flow validation study performed on a mathematical/numerical model of atmospheric boundary layer flow. Hence, the main contribution of this paper is a presentation of a pollution dispersion 2D-calculations. As before, the validationtest-case is related to a neutral boundary layer 2D-flow over an isolated hill with a rough wall. Our mathematical model is based on the system of RANS equations closed by a two-equation k-epsilon turbulence model together with a wall functions. The finite volume method and the explicit Runge-Kutta time integration method are utilized for the numerics.

    Článek se zabývá validací matematického modelu turbulentního proudění v mezní vrstvě atmosféry. Hlavním cílem je presentace 2D výpočtů s exhalacemi. Validační test je uvažován pro proudění s neutrální stratifikací mezní vrstvy kolem kopečku s drsnou stěnou. Je užito RANS rovnic s k-epsilon turbulentním modelem a stěnovými funkcemi. Pro numerické řešení je užita Rungeova-Kuttova metoda konečných objemů.
