Effect of Impeller Blades Shape on Particles Suspension
Result description
For off-bottom particle suspension, frequently are used high-speed turbines, which induce in vessel axial flow. The goal of this paper is comparison of suspension ability of various types and geometrical configurations of high-speed impellers (impellersaccording to Czech standards and impellers designed by Techmix Ltd. The new objective electrochemical method for identification of just off-bottom particle suspension state was used in experiments. This experimental method eliminated disadvantages of till now commonly used visual methods.
