Original language description
The paper deals with the experimental research of active boundary layer control using periodic excitation by means of synthetic jet on the compressor blade cascade. Synthetic jet was introduced radially into the flow field just in position of leading edge of the compressor blades. Mixture of oil and chalk powder was used as painting visualization technique. Visualization was carried out under exciting frequencies of synthetic jet, f = 0, 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 Hz and Reynolds number Re 2 x 10e5, basedon chord of blade. Results from surface trace visualization measurements on suction and pressure sides and on side wall were analyzed and discussed in detail.
